Epilepsy Awareness Day 2014

The “Big Brain” visited for Epilepsy Awareness Day. Policymakers, agency leaders and the community joined us at the California State Capitol to take a tour of their brain.  Diana Dooley, Secretary of Health and Human Services will walk through the giant 10’ by 10’  inflatable brain. “Brain health is critical and this exhibit is a wonderful way for our lawmakers, community and school children to interact and learn more about how to care and “love your brain.”

We answered questions like: What happens when brain doesn’t not function properly?, What are seizures?, and How can I protect my brain?
